'As Good As A One Man Band Can Possibly Be'
Michael hails from Belmullet in Co. Mayo. He has five albums and two DVDs to his name. His first album and DVD of the same name titled "Around Irelands West Coast" was released in 1998 and ever since, his career has went upwards and onwards. Influenced by some of the greats, Daniel O'Donnell, Gareth Brooks and Buck Owens, Michael has played all over Ireland and twice a year does a tour of England, playing all the Irish centres and pubs.



Described by the Irish Mirror "As good as a one man band can possibly be", Michael includes a great dance programs mixed with some great sing along songs. As well as being a great entertainer, Michael also is known around the Irish country music scene as an accomplished song writer, where the likes of the Duets, Seamus Moore, P.J Murrihy and most recently Mike Denver with "My Darling Kathleen" have recorded some of Michaels work. Being a very popular artist on the Irish music scene, Michael has played along side artists such as Brendan Shine, Jimmy Buckley, Mike Denver, the Conquerers, Thomas Maguire and Fhionna Ennis, to name but a few. This is a busy time for Michael and his one man show, such is his popularity.
