I'm a welder by trade. I've started writing poetry and songs since 1996. I've been in several songcontest finals including Glinsk in 1999 and Drumshanbo with Sean McCarthy on a number of occasions, finishing in 2nd place twice in 2002 and 2009.
I released my debut album, Pickup Trucks, in October 2008. The album contains 15 original songs with the proceedes going to suicide awareness. The first time I picked up a guitar to actually learn it was at the age of forty-six, ten years back. I've been happily married to my wife Eileen for thirty-eight years and we've had five children and four grand kids.
